CADD’s Professional Practices in Art series will offer artists and art enthusiasts a broad spectrum of workshops that center on traditional and contemporary practices in art. These skill-building opportunities strive to provide education from multiple perspectives and pedagogies for our Dallas/Fort Worth community and are ideal for individuals interested in strengthening their preparation in artistic outreach and/or practices in art. Coffee with CADD discussions serve as skill-share events and as community outreach opportunities to provide connection through our kinship of CADD galleries. Coffee with CADD’s goals through its Professional Practices in Art discussions are to bring together engagement through art practice on a variety of subjects to the benefit of the practicing artist.

Our first Coffee with CADD Professional Practices in Art event, “Building & Refining Your Artist CV” will be on October 8, 2022, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Cluley Projects. Renowned artist and UTD professor John Pomara will speak, along with Danette Dufilho, Conduit Gallery’s esteemed Director and Project Room Curator.
