Plano Art Association’s Regional 125 Show Now on Exhibit at Eisemann Center in Richardson.
The annual major regional art show of the Plano Art Association’s 125 Show 2022 is open to the public through Sunday, July 24.
This exciting exhibit is of the work by outstanding artists living within 125 miles of Plano. Judges selected the top 80 works to exhibit in the show from over 200 entries.
The awards reception was held Friday, July 8 and attended by a very large number of guests.
A highlight of the reception was the presentation of Best of Show award, sponsored and presented by First United Bank of Plano. Ted Lane, Director of Treasury Management Services, presented a $1,000 check to winner Benjamine Lester. Mr. Lane addressed appreciation for the opportunity to contribute to the event, stating, “We feel that by supporting the arts community and organizations like Plano Art Association we can play our part in encouraging and empowering others to Spend Life Wisely.“
Categories of works exhibited include paintings and drawings; photography and three-dimensional creations.
Plano Art Association president, Gaby Pruitt praised the participants: “This show is the result of exceptional creative work by an impressive number of regional artists. It is truly an opportunity for the art-appreciating public to see amazing art.”
The show runs through Sunday, July 24, at the Eisemann Center, 2351 Performance Dr., Richardson, TX 75082.
Regular hours: Monday – Saturday, 10 am – 6 pm and open hours when other events are scheduled.
